I do help people that have been picked up for driving without a valid license. It's important that it be handled properly from an immigration perspective because that particular ticket is a criminal misdemeanor and when an immigration court potentially is looking down the road at criminal history, technically that qualifies as criminal history. The main thing is you want to manage it, and that means comply with what the court wants. There are certain things that I can help with usually, meaning that instead of missing work and having to pay fines, you may be able to do community service instead. Basically, the thing is don't ignore it. It can be managed and it should be managed so that it doesn't create a bigger situation for you down the road. That's why it's important to have an attorney involved in that type of case.
