Yes, you can bring dependents on an e-2 visa. Children can come, and they're allowed to stay as long as the principal investor has an active e-2 visa. They can stay until they're age 21. there are a few quirks with it, in that the children cannot accept work while in the us. the spouse, however, can, but the benefit is that they're free to do other things, including go to school, and as long as the principal investor has a valid e-2, the dependents are good as well.
